THE VISION
Today, tens of millions of young people will inherit the world we are creating. Together they represent one of the largest segments of our population. Yet they have little power over the decisions that shape their future.
We Are Your Children gives young people a united voice.
Through youth choirs across America, young people sing directly to the adults who shape the world around them - parents, educators, businesses, and elected leaders.
Their message is simple and urgent:
Children deserve a future where they are safe, healthy, supported, and able to pursue their dreams.
A HISTORIC MOMENT
In 2026, America will celebrate the 250th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence.
Two and a half centuries ago, our nation declared that all people are entitled to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness.
As we approach this historic milestone, We Are Your Children offers a way for young people across the country to raise their voices in song, reminding us that the future of our nation depends on how we care for our children today.
A DECLARATION FOR OUR CHILDREN
Today, the children of our nation will inherit the world we are creating. Yet, they cannot yet vote. Their lives, their safety, and their future depend on the decisions adults make today.
Through youth choirs across our nation singing, 'We Are Your Children', young people are raising their voices in song. Not in anger. But in hope.
Children must be a national priority.
Together they remind us of a simple truth. They ask the adults of this nation to build a future where every child can grow up safe, healthy, supported, and free to pursue their dreams.
Their voices rise in harmony. In that harmony, they remind us of our shared responsibility to the next generation.
A nation that protects its children protects its future.
